Reichswehr Unterofizzier in 1934

Unteroffizier from the 12th. Infanterie Regiment in 1934. Note the visored cap with the new introduced insignia. 

 

Unteroffizier with double breasted tunic

 

The unteroffizier of the photo belongs to the 17th. (Bavarian) Cavalry Regiment. He wears the old double breasted field tunic for the Reichsheer introduced on 1909 for the light cavalry units. He updated the tunic as regulations ordered for his use as off duty uniform. 

Vizefelwebel of provisional Reichswehr

The NCO of the photo that we observe is wearin a M15 feldbluse from the old Reichsheer. He wears the new rank sistem what was introduced in 1919 for the provisional Reichswehr, like the universal double litzen introduced for the Reichswehr like the new introduced shoulder cords. 

 

Zahlmeister Eugen Frei

 On these two photos we can see mr. Eugen Frei, who was later Bürgermeister, Mayor, from Stockelsdorf in the district of Ostholstein.

On the first image he appears dressed as enlisted, and in the 2nd he was already Zahlmeister, paymaster, that is a civil servant on the German Reichswehr, considered as officer.  

Infantry Oberfeldwebel

 This infantry Oberfelwebel dresses a last war tunic according new regulations for the Reichswehr. It allowed to NCO's, if approved by his unit, to dress the old army uniforms as off-duty. 

The Oberfeldwebel wears his new Reichswehr cap with the modified insignias for the new Reichswehr and his Iron cross 1st and 2nd class. 

Schutzpolizei Beamter

On this photo, taken on 1st July of 1927 in Remscheid, we can observe a police officer wearing the typical police uniform from Prussian Weimarer Republik police.

 Reichswehr soldier from mountain units. Know by the characteristic cap used by these units.

Hauptmann from the Reichswer and Great War veteran awarded, among others, with the Iron Cross 1st class.

Group of Reichswehr Soldiers

 There is a group of Reichswehr soldiers lead by an Unterofizzier who does wear the piped model of the tunic, in walking out modality. The rest does ear their regular walking out uniform.

 This very interesting photo shows a lady on his probably husband or boyfriend's uniform. It was common practice that the fiancees got photographed on his partner's uniform.

You can observe this one belongs to a Great War veteran, and he holds the Iron Cross 2nd class.

We can observe a nice photo studio from a Reichswehr Unteroffizier wearing a saber on his walking out uniform . We can see on his cuff that he has got a 3rd class marksmanship award.

Reichswehr Soldier

 This Reichswehr's soldier wears the daily cap and an officer's looking like belt. 

Reichswehr Gefreiter

 This Gefreiter show on his arm the chevron for his rank and over it the insignia as signal's operator. Wears on his chest the DRA sports badge.
